Account Deletion
This page explains how to request deletion of your Altaflip account and associated data.
How to Delete Your Account
You can delete your account directly within the app:
In-App Deletion:
- Open the app and go to Cloud Backup (or Profile)
- Scroll to the Account section
- Tap Delete Account
- Confirm the deletion in the dialog
What Gets Deleted
When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed:
- Your Firebase account and authentication data
- Any backed up data in our cloud services
Note: Device-based trial tracking data is retained to prevent trial abuse. This data does not identify you personally.
Local Data
Session data stored locally on your device (sessions, settings, hydration logs, etc.) will remain after account deletion. The app continues working locally with your existing data. To remove local data:
- Uninstall the app, or
- Clear app data in your device settings
Processing Time
Account deletion is processed immediately when initiated from within the app.
Important Notes
- Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone
- You will lose access to all premium features and subscriptions
- Any active subscriptions should be cancelled through Google Play or Apple App Store separately
- After deletion, you can create a new account, but previous data cannot be recovered
